Crown Republic Gastropub is the place where rustic New American fare meets “made from scratch”cooking with heart. Our team sources from global food and cultural inspirations, brings and approachable, eclectic culinary experience that guests can’t wait to explore. At Crown Republic Gastropub, Chef Anthony Sitek takes pride in creating nearly all of the ingredients in house. Our chef-driven dishes are served with an expert eye so that our guests can concentrate on what matters most: the friends and family they are dining with. Family is exactly our specialty at Crown Republic; our goal is to make everyone who walks in the door, from our staff to our smiling guests, feel at home. Slightly off the beaten path where the business and arts districts of downtown Cincinnati collide, you’ll find that you are able to relax and savor every moment, knowing you are in good hands.
Our Chef & Owner
Anthony Sitek — Originally from New Jersey, this full blooded Italian got his love from cooking from his grandma. A graduate from @jwuprovidence, he finished his culinary degree early so he could take on the city of Chicago and their booming food scene. He has also worked in NYC under Bobby Flay and comes to Cincinnati after opening up a Mediterranean restaurant in Miami. Anthony has spent his time honing his culinary skills so he could finally share them with the city of Cincinnati. He can’t wait for you to join him at the Chef’s table!
Managing Partner
Haley Nutter-Sitek — Managing Partner and ruler of the Front of House. As a Cincinnati native, she knew that CRG would thrive here. Another graduate from the Johnson & Wales Culinary program, she decided she liked to work more hands on with the customers and moved to the front of house. She has worked in Providence, Chicago, and here locally. The past couple years she has been focusing on being a mom and working behind the scenes to get CRG up and running. (Someone has to keep our CRG boys in check!) She is excited to get our doors open and see familiar faces from her younger years

Re-Opening May 21st! To say we have been working hard is an understatement. Like we said, the health and safety of our staff and guests is our top priority. Our restaurant will look different when you come in. There are missing chairs and tables. There is space and barriers between EVERYTHING. But the flowers are planted, the patio is set up, everything is sanitized AND new menu items have been added! We are only missing you! Looking forward to our first weekend back...See y’all tomorrow!

We had reservations for Losanti tonight, but in keeping with the Governor's order, we had to cancel, so we decided to support local and go to Anthony's other restaurant for the DIY Bolognese pasta dinner with the Kale salad. — Let me tell you, this man can cook! I couldn't decide to use a spoon or fork to get all the gravy. I honestly never thought much about Kale salad until tonight, the rough texture of kale stands up well to the thick dressing, which is to die for! It pairs well with the Bolognese. Visited for my first time tonight with friends. Will definitely add this place into my rotation of "go-to" places to take my foodie friends from out of town. What can I say? From the moment we walked in everything was amazing!! Our server was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the restaurant and all of the food and her recommendations were spot on. The staff all pitched in to keep drinks full and the manager was very sociable and our first experience with the restaurant was AWESOME! Really can't speak highly enough of this place. It's become one of our go-tos because you can tell when they say "scratch kitchen gastropub" they really mean it. Wide variety on the menu - one of the few places where I try something different every time and am always very pleased. But it's not just the food.
